Overriding a powerful anti-China sentiment in India, Chinese language smartphone maker Xiaomi succeeded in retaining the place of high smartphone vendor within the nation defeating rivals Vivo and Samsung, a report by the Worldwide Knowledge Company (IDC) discovered.
The report stated that Xiaomi retained its lead by transport 13.5 million models within the third quarter, ending September, 2020 registering a 7% development year-on-year.

On October 30, analysis agency Counterpoint had reported that Samsung had raced forward of Xiaomi to turn into the main smartphone model by shipments in India.
